If you’re reading this, then you’ve taken what’s probably the hardest and most important step in learning more about how math can create options and opportunities for you now and in the future.

We know that for far too many students, math is seen as an obstacle, a ‘thing’ to get through or avoid. Yet we have heard from a number of students that math represents a rewarding challenge filled with accomplishments and new skills.

TMP, along with educators, business leaders, parents and students like you, are working together to ensure that all students get the math skills needed in today’s world. We realize that a number of things need to change to make this happen. This is why TMP is working in math classrooms, directly with your teachers to improve teaching and teaching materials. We’re sharing our new College Readiness Standards with teachers, principals and parents around the state to help us all have a clearer vision of what college success requires today. And we’re working to make sure assessments, tests and course placements truly support your learning and goals for after high school.
